I made these worksheets to deepen the understanding of column multiplication for my (upper set) Year 5 Maths class.
(Each worksheet is differentiated by numbers - all learners have the same extension)
Activity: column method multiplication - find the missing numbers (I have attached the answers to the missing number problems)
Challenge: solve the word problems (note - there are links between each word problem)
Extension: find the missing numbers in each number sentence - what do you notice about each number you multiply (they're all prime!)
