Plans set out mental/oral starters, main teaching and worksheet activities, plenaries, key questions, differentiation and homework suggestions. Use them within a series developing a particular topic, selecting activities to suit the group. Classroom resources such as digit cards and individual whiteboards are suggested in the guidance.

This is the original 2001 publication, written for the historical National Numeracy Strategy.
