Description:
This Python Turtle Graphics course introduces students to drawing with code through a structured sequence of 10 practical activities. Students begin with simple movement and turning commands before progressing to loops, regular polygons, colours, filled shapes, pen control, procedures, parameters, lists and coordinate-based drawing.
Each activity includes a clear student handout with readable, line-numbered Python code, differentiated 1 chilli, 2 chillies and 3 chillies challenges, and a direct link to Python Code Lab. The course finishes with a creative postcard project in which students combine their new skills to design an original turtle scene.
The teacher presentation introduces the key concepts, explains each task and includes complete sample solutions for every challenge level. Separate Python starter files and solution files make it easy to distribute activities, demonstrate code and support students during lessons.
