Read and match Phase 3

A reading activity designed to support children’s confidence and independence in reading phonetically decodable sentences.

The activity encourages children to read the short, decodable sentence and match it to the correct picture. All sentences use phase 3 digraphs so perfect for Reception or Year 1 to recap and practice previously taught sounds or for intervention groups to offer targeted reading support.
