Introduction lesson focused on reflexive verbs in Spanish aimed at A Levels but could be easily adapted to Key Stage 4.
The lesson includes:
- Starter which is a retrieval game where students have to write down some reflexive verbs that they are familiar with.
- Topic question and objectives
- Cultural slide to make them talk a bit about make up and spending money on it (maquillarse - reflexive verb)
- Think - pair - share - so they see the difference between a reflexive and a non-reflexive verb
- Grammar explanation of reflexive verbs
- Whiteboard activity - spin the wheel to get a pronoun and a verb - students have to create a sentence including the pronoun and the verb
- Multiple choice task
- Fill the gaps reading
- Writing task
