This Pentathlon competition spreadsheet has been created using the official Olympic equation to generate the overall scores, but adapted to work for a school sports day level of performance.
Please note it is important to enter the scores in the following formats:
100m: Seconds
800m: Seconds (not minutes)
Long Jump: Centimeters
Shot Put: Meters
Javelin: Meters
Due to the way the formulas work you are not able to put in 0 for any scores. The ones that are pre-set are the lowest score for it to work, so if someone did not compete in that event we used that score.
