This activity can be used for one lesson or developed across a number of lessons. Students can design a self portrait or base it on a celebrity of their choice, i have attached some portraits to the powerpoint to help you. I used this for an activity day based on Unicef for ages 11-16 and it worked really well, students can use a range of colours and fonts. Students may find it hard to think of words for their portrait but we discussed identity and also looked at a range of poems.
