Sonic Pi music on computers - an interesting coding tool for computers to create music through writing some basic programming code. Introduces the concept of ‘live coding’, covers a range of common programming concepts such as sequencing and loops. A set of activities with step-by-step guides on creating some simple rhythms with a wide variety of drum sounds and bass guitar!
Includes PPT slides with image files, included screenshots and sample Sonic Pi files also provided for teachers to share with students for editing and further development.
(Requires the installation of Sonic Pi - free to download for Windows PC, MacOS and Linux/also linked to Raspberry Pi).
