A useful lesson for teaching student about mark-making, and how to create different tones using different techniques Students have the oppitunity to create a small tonal scale using the mark-making technique above. They can then apply that technqiue to a 3D objects (with examples and animations to support students). This resource has been designed for Key Stage 3 students. This Powerpoint includes a Do now task, main task, and a plenary focusing on self-assessment and understanding the success criteria for material application and building tone with stippling. A Powerpoint and PDF version are available once purchased, so it can be changed to fit your needs. (Font styles in Powerpoint version may differ due to changing software and applicable fonts - e.g Windows, IOS/Macbook etc) Worksheets and Powerpoint are available to purchase separately.
