If you’re after a fun and engaging craft this Valentine’s Day for your students to practise their geometry skills of drawing and recognising lines, rays, angles, parallel and perpendicular lines, or measuring angles, then this 3D heart craft will be ideal!

There are two sets of hearts:
Option one: Students draw different types of lines and angles to separate the different Valentine’s objects on the hearts and label the lines and angles. Great for applying their skills to a real problem.

Option two: Students measure and write five angles shown on each heart. The smaller 3D version is great for students that like a challenge, while the larger 2D version is easier for students to measure the angles.

What’s included:

  • with or without puns
  • lines, rays, parallel and perpendicular lines, types of angles
  • measuring angles
  • smaller 3D heart or larger 2D hearts for measuring angles
  • display letters and hearts
  • visual step-by-step instructions

I hope your students enjoy making their Valentine’s hearts!
