89 slides of 15 lessons. Project originally designed for Y9 SEN students.

Students will explore how feelings, ideas and thoughts can be expressed through art.
Students will begin looking at the term abstract before going on to explore abstract artist Wassily Kandinsky, an artist believed to have had synaesthesia, a condition that allows a person to appreciate sounds, colours or words with two or more senses simultaneously.
Students will respond to the work of Kandinsky through linking their own thoughts and feelings by creating own abstract painting whilst listening to music.
