This unit of work explores William Morris within the context of the Industrial Revolution. Through observational drawing and mark making, pupils will study natural forms such as plants, developing their skills in line, tone and pattern. They will experiment with watercolours to explore colour mixing and before designing and creating their own print inspired by Morris’s style.
