This is an opportunity to introduce an engaging unit of work based on 'The Beatles'. The final task focuses on writing an interview text between a reporter and a member of 'The Beatles'. This resource is aimed at upper KS2 pupils (Years 5&6) but could also be used with years 7&8.

There are good opportunities for focused research on the musician of your choice. This resource also includes a highly stimulating initial PowerPoint presentation, suggestions for success criteria, a model interview script with Sir Paul McCartney and a KWL grid.

This resource will take several sessions to complete and all materials can be modified to suit your needs.
