Pictorials supported through whole part model and bar model.
Children will learn:
- addition and subtraction bond pairs to 20
- fact families
- subtraction as the inverse of addition
- missing number sentences
- word problems
Opportunities in every lesson for problem solving and reasoning.
Differentiated worksheets were appropriate.
This weeks worth of lessons on addition and subtraction is in line with year 2 National Curriculum and will provide evidence towards end of KS1 teacher assessments.
