Year 2 Cauldron Calculations

This 10-page Halloween maths pack turns practice into a potion! It starts with an Adult Toolkit for the grown-up, with worked examples and teaching tips for adding to 20, taking away within 20, tens and ones, and word problems. Kids solve 32 Bronze, Silver and Gold picture cards and 10 spooky word problem cards (with blank cards to write their own). Each correct answer gets cut out and stuck into the witch’s cauldron mat. There’s also a Witch’s Helpers page with number lines, tens frames and tens and ones charts, a Potion Brewing Log with “I can…” statements, and full answers.
