Zootropolis 2: Puzzling Partners

Celebrate the release of Disney’s Zootropolis 2 with this fun and engaging Puzzling Partners resource, joining the main characters of the film, Disney Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, as they patrol and protect the city.

With links to maths, English/literacy and citizenship curriculums, the Code Crackers activity sheet immerses the class in a series of numeracy-based challenges to help with Zootropolis investigations. Following in the footsteps of the partnership between Judy and Nick, learners will work in pairs to solve the puzzles and generate letters of the alphabet, which will help them to crack the code and reveal the identity of their prime suspect.

The optional Zootropolis ID competition tasks learners with creating their very own ID card, taking on the role of a new animal citizen joining the Zootropolis police department. Learners will use their creativity to draw an image of the animal citizen they have chosen to be. They will then complete the ID card with an imaginative name, birthday, job title and three special skills they bring to the team before signing it off with a paw print.
