I created this resource for A Level OCR Theology course, but it could be used for any exam board. It is Plato revision lesson, focusing on his analogy of the cave. It contains LO's and Success Criteria, there is a range of tasks to complete, to help students revise and recall all the key information needed for understanding Plato analogy of the cave. It is a full lesson on the topic of Place, within the marketing. With the lesson focusing on the 'effectiveness of place in business. Included is lesson starters, task and plenaries. Key content that should be learnt; key words, distribution channels and factors affecting place. In each slide is a set task designed to help students apply their knowledge to the theory task. They also allow them to practise for exams by applying knowledge and understanding. As well as the tasks, students should write down the relevant information, that they feel will be useful for when revising. At the end is a video, summarising the lesson content and a worksheet that students should fill, giving you a chance to see what they have learnt - Exam Practise! This resource is a worksheet for the Just War Theory topic, within Theme D - Religion, Peace and Conflict. Students have three sections to complete and familiarise themselves with. The first section has the 7 different conditions of the Just War Theory for students to know and understand. The second is space for students to identify any problems with the condition, this will help them with explanation and evaluation points for 12 markers etc. The final section is space for students to apply the Just War Theory to a specific war as a case study example to support their written answers, for examples WW1, WW2, Falklands or Iraq Wars etc. The resource is completely editable but designed in an easy to read, follow and complete way. This resource contains 13 different exit ticket templates, to assess students learning, understanding and engagement within the lesson. Included are are a variety of task and activities which involve retrieval and recall from the lesson and wider topics/SOWs. Activities include, RAG rating, summarising in a tweet, key word blurt, key concepts explanation, dual coding, emoji rating and lots more! There are multiple tickets on a page to save paper and space. All you need to do is print them out, cut them out and they are ready for use. This resource is a full lesson for the first lesson back of the year, setting out expectations and get to know students etc. The lesson is aimed towards Religious Studies with some of its content and ideas, however can be used for any subject by simply editing and renaming the subject etc. Resource content include: Big picture of learning Lesson outcomes A bit about the teacher Dual coding images for slides information/task set Classroom expectations Why is your subject important?
