I love learning! I am too easily excited over creating or finding new resources or ideas for the classroom. I can't wait to see students engaging and enjoying their learning. Throw in a Laminator and I am set!! I am a bit of a planner and I am constantly thinking of new ideas and processes to make things in teaching go a little smoother and improve . I thought it was time to start sharing the ideas whirling round my head. I hope you like the resources I have created and find them useful!

**Updated December 2017 to reflect AQA changes ** This is the first section of a student handbook that I am putting together for the new AQA GCSE RE Spec A. It outlines what the course involves, topics and routes through the course too. I am building up sections each week and will add more. I have also completed checklists for Christianity Beliefs and Teachings and Practices. Available on TES too. If you would like to see something specific as part of my AQA series then please message me. As these are all brand new resources I have created, I would greatly appreciate any feedback.

Some detailed checklists for the Christianity Beliefs and Teachings section of the AQA Spec A course. (8062) As it is a new course I didn't want to miss information, hence the detailed topics. Students complete a RAG feedback on a topic when it has been covered in lessons, and at their 1st and 2nd topic reviews. They also give an overall confidence level for the topic. I hope you find these useful. Please review the resources , so I can update and improve the resources.

Literacy: Book Review/ book report

A book report template based on a facebook page. The page is created on the main character of the book and students add a 'status' regarding what happened in different parts of the story as well as the theme/ moral of the story. There are sections for students to add friends(other characters, locations, feelings/ activities and give a recommendation for the book. I use this as part of a book bingo where students must complete a book report to mark off the Bingo card and hopefully means that students can't just use the blurb to write the report and they will actually read the book!! I would appreciate constructive feedback or comments on how you used the resource.

Evaluation Q Planning Template- Religious Studies

A template to support students with writing an evaluation answer using F.A.R.M.E.R.S. as a checklist after they have jotted down their ideas. The template includes steps and questions to support with structuring their arguments. I tell my students that ‘I’ is banned to try and encourage a higher level of writing and avoid phrases like ‘I think’ or ‘I agree’ etc. Let me know what you think! Keep a check back on the resource as I will add samples of completed worksheets over time. F.A.R.M.E.R.S Checklist: For Against Religion/Religious teachings/beliefs Multiple denominations/views Evaluation Refer back to Q Sacred text/source of Authority.
