This is from a series of posters I made for revision of the characters in George Orwell’s Animal Farm. They each display quotes and comments that would be useful to revise for the GCSE English Literature exam. This poster is of Boxer. The people represented by the character of Boxer are also visible in the background, to remind students that Boxer is an allegory for the Russian labourers or peasant workers - the proletariat. I have done this for each of the characters in this particular series. A5 prints make for really good individual student booklets, while producing A4 versions is ideal for general class use. This resource is a series of cartoon posters showing AQA GCSE 9-1 English Language Assessment Objectives. It comprises a Powerpoint featuring 18 posters - nine of these have the AOs in basic form, for ease of understanding; the remaining nine posters feature the AOs in their original form. Downloading the Powerpoint means you will have the opportunity to print as many of these out as you wish, at whichever size you wish - depending on the limitations of your printer. The font I originally used, and which is featured on one of the photos, is Marker Felt. You may need to download this free from the internet if you want the posters to look identical to mine. I recommend laminating them for long term use, and they look particularly effective when cut out.
