I have included an answer sheet.
This resource is three activity sheets/worksheets bundled together to reinforce children's understanding of negative numbers in a word problem setting.

Included are two activity sheets/worksheets where children need to count up in steps of two.
- Lower ability (first three numbers given, the rest relies on counting on)
- Higher Ability (sequence of eight numbers, some missing, where children will need to count on and back in order to solve the problem).
An activity sheet/worksheet where children are challenged to:
- Calculate the area of squares and rectangles.
- Calculate the area of parallelograms and trapeziums.
- Solve worded problems that involve area, dimensions and money.
Suitable for a first time round activity or revision, particularly for Years 5, 6 and 7.
Editable version included. A PowerPoint/PDF has also been added to aid with the teaching of this lesson.
Editable differentiated data handling activity for KS1 children or lower KS2 children.

Activity 2 - Create a bar chart from their data.
Lower Ability - Axes are labelled
Higher Ability - Axes are not labelled
Two differentiated activity sheets where children are required to recognise 2D shapes.
Lower Ability - Ten shapes that need to be matched to their names.
Higher Ability - Twelve shapes on a sheet that children need to name (no names given to match).
Activity sheet where children have two put decimal numbers and whole numbers in ascending order.
There are twelve problems, each with four numbers to put into order.
Fantastic investigations for all groups of children, exploring the rules for odd and even numbers.
- High ability document - What happens when you add an odd number to an odd number, an even to an even, an even to an odd...what about multiplication? - This activity is differentiated seven ways with a summary/results page for the children to complete at the end. The children really love this!

There are two sheets, an Expected Standard sheet and a more challenging Mastery sheet (2016+ Curriculum). On each sheet there are nine missing angles, meaning that children have 27 things to do in order to complete one activity sheet.
Please rate and/or comment. All feedback is valuable.
