( It can be adapted and modified to your preferred language). Listening activity covering all the objective. ( Include transcripts , and can be use for translation as a separated task if needed). I created the following resource for my Health and Social Care students but you can use it in other different subjects and during form time. Students need to LO1. To explore the concept of Galantine’s Day within the context of health and social care LO2. To apply principles of health promotion and teamwork in planning and delivering a wellness workshop. Discuss the significance of Galantine’s Day and its potential impact on mental, emotional, and social well-being. Conduct research on activities, strategies, and resources that promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle. In this lesson, Spanish teachers will find two lessons, one to teach “Los instrumentos musicales” (musical instruments) and the second one, to teach the comparative form of the verb “preferir” (to prefer). This lesson follows the Claro 2 Unit 3 (3.4 Somos melómanos) book, but can easily be adapted and used with other textbooks such as VIVA, as the vocabulary and concepts are transferable. Overall, this lesson aims to develop students’ vocabulary and communication skills, while also fostering an appreciation for music and musical instruments. Firstly, students will be introduced to a variety of musical instruments and their names in Spanish. This will involve listening, writing, dictation and reading activities. The second objective of the lesson is to teach students how to express preferences using the comparative form of the verb “preferir”. They will learn how to compare two or more things using the structure “preferir…a…” (prefer…to…). Students will be provided with various scenarios and will be asked to express their preferences for different musical instruments. They have the opportunity to practice speaking and writing as the main tasks. At the end, there are some cultural slides and some homework related to it. There are 41 slides in total.
