This is an Excel spreadsheet that replicates the questions from the 2016 KS2 Mathematics Paper 2 reasoning sampler. Each page has a number of questions providing valuable practice to your pupils in preparation for their tests, pressing F9 refreshes the questions and changes the numbers so you can give them the questions again. Of 20 questions on the paper I have been able to replicate 15 and of these 14 come with answers. Please make sure that you pass on any costs to your school.

Because TES resources does not show excel files very well this is a sampler to show what the full file will do. I have taken each of the 36 questions from the sample paper issued by the Standards and Testing agency and created a random generator to easily provide a set of questions that can be given to pupils to practise for this test. The first page has all 36 questions, pressing F9 will bring up the same questions but with different numbers. All the answers to these questions are on the second page. There are another 36 pages on the worksheet, each providing 36 random questions of a single type.

I created a spreadsheet that allowed me to record all issues with my classes. It uses drop down boxes to ensure that the data input is very quick and the spreadsheet is filtered to allow me to sort by pupil. I then used this data to explain the performance of my pupils when called upon. The file can be modified to suit your requirements, upload class lists issues and actions into columns I, J and K respectively and away you go. I used the comment function when I needed to make an additional statement.
