A sheet to record your assessment of the children in phonics/literacy. Print this sheet twice (there are enough rows for 15 names) and use it for on-entry, term 2 and term 3 assessment. Simply fill in beside each child's name their results for the number of phonemes, graphemes tricky words and so forth that the child knows. Each term's entry is on the same page to allow for progression to be seen easily.

Here we have a week of planning (5 lessons) on Place Value and Statistics. The planning is aimed at a higher level Year 2 (England) or Grade 1 (Australia). The Learning Objectives are: How to compare, order and find numbers on a hundred square when given their relative position. How to identify, represent and estimate numbers using a tally chart, pictogram and a number line. How to compare and order numbers using the symbols <, > and =. To identify and represent data in a Tally Chart, Bar Chart and a Pictogram How to interpret data The planning has been designed to be easily adaptable for lockdowns/home learning. This is why the whole week is on one single PowerPoint which clearly details the learning objectives, the instructions along with 3 differentiated tasks for each day. This can easily be uploaded to applications such as Seesaw for home learning. Notes are also included for the teacher where extra information is required which is not relevant for the children to see.
