A visually appealing Power Point that covers the various Marxist perspectives on education. Could be printed and used as an activity where each pupil gets a card with a sociologists view and has to explain to the class what their theory is without using the sociologists name. The class have to guess who they are! e.g “my name is blank … . I believe that education is a way to control the way the W/C think. These apparatus pass on Dominant Ideology (no physical force is used). This is done through institutions such as the family, religion & education. The R/C pass on their ideas & beliefs”.
