This is a PowerPoint presentation to be used every time you are doing spelling in the classroom. It has space for 4 spelling groups with humorous bee themed names that the children will love e.g. Mr BEEns, OBEE wan KenoBEEs. However these can be edited if required. The PowerPoint has a space to announce the groups, and has an order of tasks in a rotation including teacher time and other activities for children to be working on. There is also slides describing what each task requires them to do.
This activity is perfect for the beginning of the year when you are getting to know your class. The activity involves the students creating a name tent for their tables. It also has space for them to write information about themselves which is useful for the teacher to know, such as favourite subject, words to describe themselves, people that are close to them and activities that they like to do.
Worksheet for students have continuous disruptive behaviour. This gives them a chance to understand what they are doing wrong and reflect back on what they could have done better and how it made them and others feel and also set a goal for the future.
It is to be sent home to be read and signed by the students parents as well as teachers in the school.
