Medieval Medicine Unit for AQA: Lessons, homework, exam questions and technique
Entire unit for Part One: Medicine Stands Still.
Bundle includes lessons, homework tasks, practice questions I have written myself, guidance on exam question structure and is designed to prepare students to take an end of unit test on the 4 questions for Paper 2 Section A.
Learning resources are included, however, there are a couple of tasks which involve pupils using the Oxford Thematic Studies textbook.
American West Overview Living Graph with separate events sheet
Designed for AQA but easily adapted for other specifications. Pupils create a living graph adding the events to the timeline and explaining their justification on the events sheet
AQA Elizabethan England Flash Cards and Timeline
Print flashcards out back to back so that pupils can use them to test themselves on key dates. There is also a timeline and and guide to how to use revision flash cards.

AQA Britain Health and The People: Renaissance Workbook
This 24 page workbook includes key content with activities to get pupils categorising, evaluating and explaining. For use in class or can be set as homework to ensure that students focus on the key information and understanding they will need to answer AQA questions. Practice questions included with a focus on Explain the significance and compare questions including structure strips.
Working through the detailed evidence on cause of disease, treatments, surgery, knowledge of anatomy, public health and healers pupils will compare developments to medieval medicine to assess continuity and change.
The significance of the Renaissance Key Individuals is evaluated and the period is summarised on one sheet.
