This is a presentation to be used as semi-controlled activity. the structures 'si + imparfait, + conditionnel' and 'si + present, +future' could give extra points for GCSE. thank you for leaving a comment

a game to assess phonetics from KS3 onwards

(1)
I prepared this game to assess the phonetics worked on. I divided the game in 2 levels easy and more difficult sounds. The template could be adapted to the phonetic you have worked on with your students. This will allow you to do an ingoing assessment, while the students are having fun. You could apply students differenciation by asking the more apt student(s) to read the phonetic aloud or give them more difficult bingo sheet. The aim is to find (hence recognise) the most boxes with the same sound otherwise you can't fill your box. Thank you for leaving a comment.

This resource is aimed at students learning French. It contains clear recordings I made (I am a French native speaker). I prepared a recording at slow speed and another one at normal speed for student differentiation. There are also listening questions sheet with the answers, reading questions with the answers as well as the translations into English (They can be used for high achievers to practice translation into French). A fun listening game is included: you can use it either as a pre-listening activity or as plenary to finish the lesson on a high note. In my shop fgibbison you will also discover many fun resources in French, English, German and Spanish. I would love to hear how you got on with this resource: Thank you for leaving a review.

Tenses & Translations practice in French with Christmas topic

This progressive resource is aimed at students learning French at low and higher levels. It contains a list of regular and irregular verbs related to Christmas topic. The conjugation of irregular verbs and verbs with spelling changes is included. Students can refer to it when doing the activities. The tenses used in the exercices are: present, perfect, imperfect, future, conditional and pluperfect. Students can fill the gaps with just the tense you are studying. I have also included the answers in French as well as in English so that the resource can be used to practice translating (some notes were added to help doing just that). This resource allows me to check the progress of my students: Once they master the present, perfect, imperfect and future, I ask them to do the conditional and pluperfect tenses exercices. The game 'Translate and reveal the French expression' can be used as homework or pair work (all tenses are needed except the pluperfect). You will also find in my shop fgibbison many other fun resources in English, German and Spanish. I would love to hear how you got on with this resource: Thank you for leaving a review. I thoroughly review my resources to ensure that they are accurate. However, should you find some errors, I would appreciate if you could let me know. Merci Françoise.
