Text and exercises: "Visit in Brittany" (Séjour en Bretagne) (French B1-B2)

(0)
This document includes 4 pages of exercises on the theme of Brittany and tourism. After a short introduction on this region, you will be able to read a booking confirmation e-mail from a Brittany hotel. This is followed by six questions about the text (written comprehension), then a question about geography: the aim is to locate Brittany on a map of France. Then comes an exercise in written expression (or oral expression, depending on the teacher’s choice): you would like to come to the hotel one day earlier, and should therefore write an e-mail to the establishment to find out if this is possible. You will then be asked to write a letter to the hotel, in which the client will state his or her complaints because he or she did not enjoy the stay. The formatting of the letter is visible to help the writer. Finally, a final exercise will ask the learner to write a Google review of the hotel. The expected level for these exercises is A2 minimum, preferably B1-B2. All these exercises have detailed answers, with writing examples. ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… We hope you will enjoy this worksheet! French text (with blanks): "mon parcours professionnel" (passé composé et imparfait)

(0)
You will find below a text to be filled in with verbs conjugated in the past tense (passé composé) or the “imperfect” (imparfait) past tense. You will have to choose the appropriate tense in each case. This text describes the (fictitious) career path of a man who studied economics and who, after various professional experiences, finally became a teacher. This exercise is appropriate for French levels A2-B1; choosing between passé composé and imparfait is sometimes difficult for those learning French, so the teacher should explain the uses of these two tenses. Beyond conjugation, this activity will also help your learners to enrich their vocabulary with words and expressions from everyday language. You will find a page with the text with empty spaces, and a second page with the corrected text. We hope you will enjoy this worksheet!
