This is a y13 lesson I have created to revise how to answer a tarjeta in paper 3 AQA A-Level paper. Students are reminded what the expect from the task and how to successfully answer the 3 printed questions of the stimulus card. Students are then reminded of the language they must use to impress the examiner and to get an A*. This lesson provides students with a number of structures to practice to improve the quality of their presentation. The complex structures practised are: Subordinate clauses/ conjunctions; Relative clauses; Si hipotético ; Value Judgement + subjuntivo. Hola, this is a lesson on the Spanish Civil war I created for my A-level class. The lesson explores the complexity of the first 30 years of the XX century for Spain. Students are guided to research about Alfonso XIII, Primo de Rivera, la primera república y sus problemas. Students then learn about main features of a dictatorship ans discuss why Franco was able to win this war. The ppt is full of historical images and videos to catch students’ attention.

Hola, this is a lesson I created for y7 Spanish students. It is a revision of family vocabulary using the Disney film Encanto. It can also be used to revise or introduce physical description (pelo y ojos) The focus grammar points revised are: hay, tener and present tense verbs use to talk about family. The lesson also include different activites I have developed for the film Encanto: fill in the gaps with verbs to talk about the story, an Conti’s style broken translation; True or false on prior Knowledge about Colombia; Key vocabulary specific to cultural aspects in the film or specific to Colombia. two after the film activites. This is a lesson for World Book Day, on Don Quijote de la Mancha y Miguel de Cervantes. It is for y7 classes so it is very accessible. The lesson includes: A starter: Cuál es la novela? Students have a list of novels in Spanish and need to work out which novel is it! A mini-translation activity with some interesting facts about the novel A reading out loud on Carvantes as a pair work A broken translation based on the reading about Cervantes I teach in London so I have also included a reference to a painting my students might have seen before which has got to do with Cervantes’ life. Dear all, I prepared this revision booklet to support my students’ revision for Paper 1. The lesson include a revision of the Subjuntivo and some practice, students are asked to spot the subjutivo in several past papers translations ( I have used 2019-2023 papers). Hola a todos, This ia a lesson I prepared for my y13 to support them in answering AQA essays titles on La Casa de Bernarda Alba, símbolos y técnicas to refer to freedom, repression, sexual desire/love. In this lesson students are reminded of the main symbols in the play, what they mean and main quotes regarding these. The lesson points out the use of Paralelismos between a symbol and the life in the play. I hope you find it useful.
