Booklet to help students revise for translation task. It contains vocab from the fantastic resource of Austenlowe available here some tricky grammar aspects, students often struggle with. I have developed this list looking at translations from past paper and errors that my students often encounter. Students can add to the list the grammar points they found difficult to remember. (PDD and Word doc) For each topic, there are 10 sentences from English to French (45 marks) + 2/3 paragraphs to translate from French to English (45 marks). The translations include key vocab on the topic as well as varied grammar points (including more complex structures and “traps”.) At the end of each topic, there is a recap page, where students can add new vocab they have learned as well as tricky grammar aspects that they would need to revise. The booklet also include a marking page, where students can keep track of their progress. I hope this resource will be useful. A trivial pursuit board game to prepare students for their speaking exam. A fun and effective way for student to practise independently. The game contains (available in PPT and PDF): - board game - 40 cards - card template Blue = questions on famille or cybersociete such as: “Comment a evolue le modele familial en France?” - “Que savez-vous du cyberterrorisme dans le monde francophone?”… Pink = questions on benevolat or patrimoine such as: “Dans quels secteurs les Francais font-ils du benevolat?” - “Avez-vous deja visite un monument francais? This board game will allow your students to practice for their speaking Exam in a fun way. The students will judge each other on how satisfactory their answers are to continue moving on the board game or staying on the same question until they have provided a developed answer.
