I am a languages teacher who has, over the years, created many resources for teaching French and Spanish. Here I am sharing a few of these, in the hope it makes a hard-working teacher's life a little easier at a time when they need something quickly. Often adding more resources, so watch this space!

Connect 4 and Noughts and Crosses - Ppt game to practise Countries vocabulary in any language

(0)
A ready-to-use Powerpoint based game of both Connect-4 and Noughts and Crosses to practise Countries vocabulary. Can be used to practise any language and with any objectives, e.g. single vocabulary items, sentence structure, tenses, etc. The games must be played in edit mode - NOT slideshow mode. The pictures in the grids must also be ‘sent to back’ so that the counters show up in front of them. I usually split groups up in to 2 and have them compete against each other - but again, this resource can be used in a multitude of ways.

Le materie e l'aula scolastica - School subjects and the classroom - Connect 4 game - Italian

(0)
A 36-slide Powerpoint to introduce vocab items in Italian related to school: the classroom and school subjects. There is an individual slide for each vocab item to aid teaching as well as a vocab list and Connect 4 board game with counters. The game needs to be played in Edit mode otherwise the counters won’t move. I usually split groups into 2 and have them compete to remember key vocab/phrases and make it more difficult for more able groups, e.g. put the sentences into different tenses, etc.

Grammatical Terms - French/Spanish/Italian GCSE

(0)
An outline of grammatical terms which French GCSE pupils need to understand in order to master the necessary grammar points for GCSE. Includes an activity to recognise elements of a sentence related to the terms defined. Could also be used to help pupils of Spanish or Italian GCSE. I like to present grammar information visually, as it helps me to teach it better and pupils report that they remember the information more easily with the use of colour and visual layout.

Die Tiere - Was fehlt? German vocab learning game

A Powerpoint to help students learn German vocabulary related to animals and pets. Useful as a starter for the classroom or any language lesson. Includes vocabulary for all animals included and each slide has an animal missing which the student needs to name. Highly versatile in terms of how it’s used and could be made more difficult for more able learners, e.g. by asking for the word in a sentence, in a sentence in a different tense, etc. Also available in my shop in French, Spanish and Italian.

Spanish Rules of Accentuation - PPT with interactive quiz

(0)
This a 57-slide PowerPoint which outlines the rules of accentuation in Spanish, followed by a basic, interactive quiz to help students remember the rules. Rules of accentuation in Spanish revolve around two main syllable types (tónicas and átonas), and four main word types (agudas, llanas, esdrújulas and sobresdrújulas). The PowerPoint explains how the different word types have stress on different syllables, which are counted backwards from the end of the word; when the different types of words carry a ‘tilde’ (accent) and why, and some exceptions to these rules.
