This unit of work is focusing on helping students to start investigating career paths and choose their GCSE options. The first part is looking at the link between personality and career choice using the Holland Codes. An adaption of the Balloon Debate but instead of students taking on roles, they are a committee choosing survivors. There are 2 or three stage to each scenario each one giving the students a little more information on the characters. I have created 4 scenarios: Lifeboat Super Volcano Eruption Zombie Outbreak Neutron Star I use a Charcoal peel off facemask to cover information on the character cards so information is drip fed to them rather than all at once.
