Christmas 2022 Quiz Just type in the name of the host e.g Mr Jones/Miss Smith Open the powerpoint and start the slide show. Lots of current questions- who in the class will be the Christmas Millionaire? (Prize winner)

My class planned a story about a girl called Elizabeth, who travels back in time to Ancient Egypt, where she encounters a problem she must resolve. I have created a series of 5 plot points, each containing 3 learning chunks. I used the year 3.4 curriculum for the grammar features

I made this unit of work based on 'The Hand' by Guy de Maupassant. It is great to do a short narrative HORROR unit with years 5 and 6 and my children loved it. You can get loads of descriptive writing out of them. The unit lasts 2+ weeks. This pack includes complete planning, 8 notebook files, the full text for the children and an assessment checklist. Hope it's useful to others and can all be adapted as needed. I removed all the names etc from my planning. But I reckon year 5 , 6 and 7 teachers could do a lot with all this ENJOY!!
