All My Sons Entire Scheme

All My Sons Entire Scheme

(1)
An entire scheme of learning based around the Arthur Miller text All My Sons. The scheme was designed for Y9/KS3 but could be easily adapted. The scheme consists of four lessons a week and spans over the course of 11 weeks. The final two weeks are dedicated to AQA GCSE spoken language endorsement. I have included a medium term plan designed to map out the 12 weeks and to highlight the range of secondary texts used. The resource also includes a basic homework booklet which could be adapted accordingly. Also attached in the scheme is some optional further reading for teachers to support their understanding of the text. All videos/articles used in the scheme have been hyperlinked either on the slide or in the description notes underneath. I hope this may be useful to someone.

Interview Lesson with Lesson Plan - An Irish Airman Forsees His Death - Identity Poetry - KS3

A lesson with detailed annotated lesson plan I created for an interview. Year 9 are currently studying a unit entitled ‘Identity’. In this unit, we are using poetry as a way to show how writers use language and structure to convey meaning, the idea being that the students learn from the experts and apply their learning in their own creative writing. Students to spend lesson on ‘An Irish Airman Foresees His Death’ poem analysis to link to Creative Writing lesson following lesson. I hope this helps someone in the future.
