About British West Indies Collegiate
Founded in 1993, British West Indies Collegiate is the premier co-educational independent school in the Turks and Caicos Islands. We provide a rigorous, international secondary education for approximately 195 students across Years 7 to 13, all within a vibrant and supportive campus environment.
Academic Pathway
Our curriculum is built on the gold standard of British education. Students sit the Cambridge IGCSE examinations in Years 10 and 11 before progressing to our elite two-year A-Level program. With a diverse range of subject choices, we empower our Sixth Formers to secure placements at top-tier universities worldwide.
Facilities
The Collegiate blends modern academic resources with exceptional recreational infrastructure. Our campus features:
- Specialized Learning: Advanced Science laboratories, a dedicated IT hub, music room, and a purposeful Sixth Form Centre.
- Elite Athletics: Through our unique partnership with the National Stadium, students have daily access to professional-grade track and field facilities, fueling our reputation for athletic prowess.
Holistic Growth & Community
We believe in the "Whole Student." Beyond the classroom, our pupils engage in a wide array of competitive sports and extra-curricular activities through after-school clubs, and our dedicated activity session on Friday afternoon. As an "extended family," we foster a deep sense of community, ensuring that every Spartan develops the character, maturity, and leadership skills necessary for future success.
