Lesson 4: Landforms created by Erosion

Students are introduced to the four key processes of erosion and they are to write these down. Students are introduced to headlands and bays - which they must first guess how a headland and bay is formed. Students then watch an animation to show how headlands and bays are formed and they self assess their previous answer. Any misconceptions can be identified at this point. Students are then introduced to wave-cut platforms through another animation. Students after watching the animation are to put the sentences into the correct order. Students are then to answer two exam questions and then peer assess them using the mark scheme provided. Students are then to identify the features on the final diagram to show their understanding of the lesson.
