A creative resource for Key Stage 1 children to explore 2D and 3D shapes, pattern and colour through art.
This resource includes 5 black-and-white colouring sheets, each featuring an exciting arrangement of different 2D and 3D shapes. Children can enjoy identifying shapes, exploring patterns and experimenting with colour as they bring each design to life.
A colour worked example of each sheet is included to provide inspiration. However, children are encouraged to use their own colour choices, develop their creativity and make each design unique.
Once they have explored the examples, children can have fun designing their own Shape, Pattern and Colour posters, arranging shapes, creating repeating patterns and experimenting with colour combinations.
