Here is a fun activity for KS2 pupils. There is a doodle poster showing items relating to Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. These images can be named, categorised and discussions around their purpose and value . Page 2 is a sheet for pupils to create their own STEM doodles. Page 3 is a table where pupils can list the items sorting them into the 4 categories and also showing where an item may link to all 4 areas. This is a good discussion to find out about any anxieties your children may have about Transition, Moving On or Change such as moving to a new class / year group or school. The slides can be used with small groups or the whole class and focus on positive things as well as those that may be a little worrying for children. The last slide is an activity sheet, that can be printed off, for children to express their individual thoughts and feelings around Change and Transition.
