A PowerPoint about Peru and Machu Picchu

This PowerPoint encourages pupils to looks at aspects of Peru. It: encourages pupils to make a mindmap about what they already know about Peru, looks at Machu Picchu with a link to a video clip, takes a look at a few of the animals that live in the Peruvian Rainforest, and shares some information about Spectacled bears (Paddington Bear!). The final activity is to create a map of Peru including key facts from this PowerPoint, the video and an atlas. With an atlas you can look at the Andes mountains, the capital city (Lima) and rivers, lakes and surrounding oceans.
