This lesson is designed for the Activate 2 scheme of work and consists of a 4 part lesson with an accompanying learning mat. Pupils are introduced to the concept of displacement reactions using well known celebrities before introducing the science. Found to be particularly effective in helping them to understand what happens and then allowing them to predict the outcome of reactions.
