Seven independent learning activities in booklet format for students to complete. Scaffolding included with some suggestions, answers to quizzes, and model answers.

Perfect for students in isolation, absent due to illness or other issues. Students can test their understanding of sociological perspectives in a fun and engaging way. Can also be adapted and/ or used as a formative assessment.

  1. Read about the sociological perspectives. Draw something to represent each.
  2. Read a short story. Answer the comprehension questions.
  3. Read the theorist biographies. Answer the questions.
  4. Read Murray’s letter to Marx. Write a response from Marx to Murray.
  5. Complete the multiple-choice quiz. Mark using the answer sheet.
  6. Read through the statements and decide whether they are true or false.
  7. Read the dialogue between the sociologists. Create summary cards.
