A ppt resource for an assembly to celebrate the European Day of Languages. The ppt shows slides of different pictures and students are encouraged to think which country the word originated from. I did it as a quiz in assembly and tutor groups gained house points if they won.
There are also some slides relating to why we learn languages and why languages are important- I linked these to our schools core values.
