2. A PowerPoint further explaining the task. It also reviews the major elements of a narrative including:  plot (aka the structure), setting, characterisation, language devices and the types of narrator.

3. a worksheet of planning steps the students should use prior to writing to ensure they have addressed all elements of the task.
