5-way differentiated reading comprehension, suitable for readers aged 7 to 14 years, for the classic fairy tale ‘The Clever Prince’ (Originally written by Kate Douglas Wiggin in 1906) in which a prince searches far and wide for a bride who is both very beautiful and clever, finally finding her living as a peasant in a cottage in the woods; after testing her intelligence, he realizes she is his equal and marries the peasant girl, making her his princess.

The higher-level text uses more complex vocabulary, some extra literary devices and a larger word count. It includes three versions of comprehension questions:
➊ A classic 18 question worksheet
➋ A 16 question worksheet
➌ A 15 question multiple choice version with 3 answer choices

The middle or  lower-level text has been simplified and shortened for easier reading whilst keeping the key details, main plot points, and essence intact.
This version includes two sets of questions:
➍ A 14 question classic worksheet
➎ A 15 question multiple choice version with 3 answer choices

All levels of worksheets come with answer sheets.
