This is a fully differentiated lesson aimed at teaching the new AQA GCSE Physics and Trilogy Physics specification, and links to the Electricity unit 4.2.

This lesson has 5 learning objectives that are designed to stretch all abilities of students in your group:

• Identify some circuit components from their symbols.
• Describe what current is
• Explain how to build a series circuit from a schematic of a circuit.
• Apply the equation Q=It to find the amount of charge that flows through a circuit
• Link the equation Q=It and V=IR to calculate the resistance in the circuit you have used.

This lesson is designed with a challenge objective and challenge questions throughout to stretch your most able students, whilst supporting your LA students.
