CVC Missing Final Sounds | 5 Phonics Worksheets

A set of 5 CVC worksheets focusing on identifying and writing the missing final (end) letter in simple CVC words.

Each worksheet contains 9 pictures with the final sound missing from the word underneath. Children look at the picture, say the word aloud and listen carefully for the ending sound before writing the missing letter.

I’ve kept the worksheets straightforward, with clear pictures and plenty of space to write. They’re particularly useful for children who are beginning to recognise initial sounds but still need a bit of practice with the sounds at the ends of words.
