This is a detailed document supporting the use of Directed, Improvement and Reflection Time in order to develop and improve exam technique. I have included a commentary sheet to demonstrate exactly how I use it.
Students' can not complete the D.I.R.T. sheet without not having read their teacher feedback, so it encourages students to be more independent in their studies as well as ensuring they read teacher feedback, making the whole experience worth while. Progress can then also be demonstrated over time.
This can be easily adapted to support any subject and any key stage.
