Easy access TAF based extension task booklet for Year 2 Shape

This booklet has been made to provide additional evidence for meeting the Year 2 TAF’s by being used as an independent extension task following each lesson in Year 2 shape units. The booklet works well alongside White Rose Maths scheme of learning, but has been made specifically to meet the TAF’s so can be used independently.
The front of the booklet includes a word mat, reminding children of the names of 2D and 3D shapes. The activities has been designed with limited reading necessary so that children should be able to access each activity independently. There are 12 lessons worth of extension tasks in this workbook, however they could be broken down further if necessary.
At the front of the workbook, the Year 2 TAF’s are pictured, for teacher to tick off/highlight when a child has hit that criteria, therefore making pupil tracking, progress and moderation much easier.
