Edexcel IGCSE English Language Paper 1 Section A lesson, exploring the extract from Explorers or boys messing about? Either way, taxpayer gets rescue bill by Steven Morris (from the anthology for component 1).

We look at the purpose and audience of the text, selecting key information and making interpretations, exploring the use of language in the extract and the effects it has on the audience, including specific examples and how they affect the audience. We also explore bias and neutral tone.
