This intervention is a structured programme designed to help young people understand their emotions, express themselves safely, and develop the skills needed to manage feelings in healthy, constructive ways. It places emotional awareness and regulation at the centre, recognising that behaviour is communication and that young people thrive when they have the language and tools to make sense of their inner world.
The programme supports young people to:

• Identify and name a wide range of emotions
• Understand how emotions feel in the body
• Recognise triggers and early warning signs
• Learn and practise regulation strategies
• Build confidence in expressing feelings appropriately
• Strengthen empathy and awareness of others’ emotions
• Develop problem‑solving and coping skills
